Generate Grass Roots Support to Achieve Your Library's Fundraising Goals
Articulating the value of library programs and services to elected officials and other financial supporters is critical to the long-term health of all public, academic, special, and school libraries.
Ivy Library is firmly committed to helping libraries generate the strong grassroots support that is key to the success of advocacy programs and to achieving fundraising goals.
Ivy Library assists libraries in developing advocacy programs by helping them map strategies for favorable outcomes with decision makers. Specific components of advocacy services include training for staff, board, and Friends, presentations, and reports that make the case for libraries (and librarians) in terms non-librarians can understand, stewardship program recommendations, and community outreach initiatives.
Does your library have the support it needs for bond funding? Is a library expansion or relocation causing an outcry? Is the library targeted for budget cuts?
Whatever the issue, The Ivy Group can conduct primary research with constituents and decision-makers so that you have the data that you need in hand before the next challenge.
